Bryonn Bain was wrongfully arrested by the NYPD while studying at Harvard Law School. He wrote an article about his experience. It was published in the Village Voice. Bryonn sued the NYPD and for wrongful imprisonment and won case. He was interviewed by Mike Wallace on 60 Minutes and subsequently had his identity stolen several times. Bryonn was arrested again when Misdemeanor and Felony warrants were put out for him. He is currently starring in http://www.lyricsfromlockdown.com. Exec. "Lyrics From Lockdown" is a one-man show in which Bryonn plays 40 characters and uses hip hop, spoken word poetry, and calypso music to detail his 2nd arrest and deal with the issues that all Americans affected by the Prison Industrial Complex face.
